The Wayne-Westland Foundation for the Improvement of Instruction was created in 1980 for the welfare and benefit of the students in the Wayne-Westland Community School District. The Foundation is a Domestic Nonprofit Corporation created to:

  • Encourage Innovative Classroom Projects

  • Promote Developmental Activities

  • Support Instruction

  • Assist with the Development of Unique Educational Causes and Projects

The Foundation provides an additional source of revenue for specialized programs that have a direct impact on student learning. Students benefit from the sources of revenue which would otherwise not be available.
